Experience

Since 2003 working freelance on a variety of web design and development projects for small businesses, not-for-profit organizations and private clients based in the UK, Spain and the USA. Projects typically include front-end UX/UI design and coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery) with back-end development in ASP.net (VB.net) and MySQL databases. Custom CMS development, cross-browser compatibility testing and SEO all feature to some degree in most projects. Ongoing general website administration and Windows (IIS) Server management are undertaken if required.

Experience also in coding simple blogs and forums, custom map plotting applications, Google Maps API, RSS feeds, data-based PDF generation, multilingual (localized) sites, PayPal integration and custom e-commerce applications.
